Amin Zendegani and Elham Hamidi, two prominent Iranian actors, were awarded at the Carthage Theatre Days festival for their performances in the film ‘The Kingdom of Solomon, the Prophet’ and the TV series ‘Prophet Joseph', respectively.

Hadi Ajili, Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Tunisia, confirmed the accolades presented to the actors at the festival, which is taking place December 2-10.

Zendegani was recognized for his role in the cinematic retelling of prophet Solomon, while Hamidi received her award for her portrayal in the impressive Iranian series that narrates the life of prophet Joseph.

The festival celebrates theatrical and screen performances from around the world.

The recent accolades at the festival underscore the prominence of Iranian narrative arts globally, showcasing the influence of Iranian films and series on international viewers.
